(She/Her) A proud graduate of Trinity University in Washington, D.C., Angelique Simpson is currently continuing her education in Early Childhood Education. She holds a certification in Family Engagement from HarvardX and brings eight years of experience as a dedicated aide in D.C. public charter schools. Now serving as a First-Grade Teaching Assistant at Two Rivers Public Charter School, she is excited to join a community that aligns with her belief that learning should be rigorous, joyful, and grounded in real-world experiences. She chose Two Rivers because of its commitment to developing every child into a lifelong learner and critical thinker.

Fun fact: she shares the exact same birthday, July 4th, with her brother. They were born one year apart, at the same time, in the same hospital room, and even made it into The Washington Post for their unique story!
