Sherrie has always had a passion for teaching young children. Growing up in Washington, D.C., with her siblings, she instilled in them the importance of education. After graduating from Eastern Senior High School, the pride of Capitol Hill, Sherrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Marketing from Virginia State University. She taught Physical Education for several years before transitioning to Early Childhood, where she developed a love for prekindergarten and has remained for more than a decade. A true Washingtonian, Sherrie enjoys go-go music, reading, and traveling with her family.
