Camilla Queen, a proud Washington, DC native and graduate of Winston-Salem State University, has been dedicated to teaching for six years across 4th, 7th, and 8th grades. Born on November 1st, Ms. Camilla is passionate about spending quality time with her family and friends, who brighten her life daily. She finds immense joy in nurturing her plants, loves embarking on travel adventures, and has a special place in her heart for turtles—her favorite animal. Fruits are her go-to treat, as she sees them as nature’s candy. Known for her teacher superpower of understanding possibility, Ms. Camilla has an exceptional talent for recognizing the potential within every student, even when they can’t yet see it in themselves.
