It is back-to-school season here at Two Rivers. As a community, we’ve missed the sounds that permeate our halls: elementary students discovering new words and mastering math concepts, and middle schoolers tackling new educational challenges, while stepping gracefully into their preteens. More than that, we’ve missed the curiosity and growth of all of our students. Through this, the network shares one goal for the school year: all students will become leaders of their own learning.
Whether your child is entering their first year at Two Rivers or last, before high school, welcome to school year 2026-2027!
Pre-Year Celebrations
We kicked off the school year with our annual Back to School Social. This signature event brought students, families, and staff together. The social provided an opportunity for all community members to connect or reconnect, strengthen relationships, and build a strong sense of Crew from the very beginning.
This shared experience reflected the intentionality of community-building through food, music, games, and entertainment.
Stepping into Year Three of the Strategic Plan
It seems like just yesterday that Year 1 of the strategic plan went into effect. We’re excited to announce that as a network, we are stepping into Year 3 of the Strategic Plan: Sailing to Success: Charting Our Course to Educational Excellence.
This year, we are focusing on EL Education’s Core practice 11: Delivering Effective Lessons. With the use of classroom management techniques, teachers will be able to promote equity, critical thinking, character development, and empowerment amongst students.
As the school year begins, we remain committed to the continuous growth of our students and staff. As always, we invite families in as partners to this journey of learning better together, growth, and success.
