In response to the recent horrific events in Charlottesville, Virginia, the Mayor, along with all of the education leaders in the city, signed a joint letter in support of safety and diversity. An excerpt from the letter echos what Two Rivers holds true and is central to its mission:
“Our schools are places of inclusion that value diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnic background, religion, immigration status, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, language, and family’s income level. The diversity throughout the city doesn’t just make us stronger – it is something to celebrate.”
Two Rivers is proud to stand in solidarity with this team of leaders.
