Zo Clement
After 9 years of teaching in MD and DC, this is year 3 at Two Rivers. Zo loves the Two Rivers community. Zo is passionate about justice, liberation, and working with other folks towards visions of a better future for ALL of us. Having grown up with a large, loud, many-types-of-diverse family, Zo is excited to hold it down at Two Rivers for students with diverse talents, skills, and needs.
Zo grew up in Maryland and received their B.A. in Biology in 2008. They received their Master of Arts in Teaching and teaching certification in 2010 from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. They also received an endorsement in Special Education.
Aside from teaching, Zo has worked for many years in the sustainable flower- and veggie-farming world. All life requires deep listening, and Zo loves the challenge of nurturing all types of creatures. They are incredibly fortunate to be supported by a strong community of chosen family in Washington, DC.
You may spot Zo in their free time cuddling their dog, practicing ASL and Spanish with patient family, or porch hanging with a mug of coffee.
