(They/Them) Zo grew up in a large, loud family in Maryland and graduated in 2008, then 2010 from St. Mary’s College of Maryland (a small campus in the public UMD system) with a Bachelor’s in Biology and then a Master’s in Teaching. Zo has worked in education, mainly as an inclusion specialist and social studies teacher, since 2009. Building strong communities requires deep listening, and Zo loves nurturing relationships and creating a sense of belonging with others around them. You may spot Zo in their free time walking their dog(s), cooking with friends and family, or reading Octavia Butler.
