(She/Her) Tamara grew up in Northern Virginia where her love for arts and literature was nurtured throughout her education. She later received a bachelor’s in English and Journalism from UMW, where she further developed her interest in storytelling, media, and communication.

In 2023, she started a career in education as a K-3 Literacy Lab tutor at Two Rivers. As a tutor, she found joy in helping students recognize the transformative power of reading and the potential they possess within their journey of learning.

Tamara then grew to realize her love for making education accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful. She continuously aims to create an environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning in her students.
