Faculty and Staff

(She/Her) Tai is a proud DC native. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Maryland College Park and a Master’s of Science in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. In 2016 she became a DC Public Charter School Teacher Ambassador through OSSE’s Literacy for All Fellowship. With 15+ years of experience in education, she is a champion of STEM, with a proven track record of building environments where students succeed. She has held positions including educator for Prince George’s County Public Schools, Board member for Escape the Shape, Middle School Math Specialist, Strategic Plan Goal lead, and Co-Director of Summer STEM Enrichment and intervention Programs at Capital City Public Charter School. She has presented for EL National Conference, Math for America, the National Science Teachers Association, and the Maryland Institute for Minority Achievement and Urban Education. In 2022, she was accepted into Bright Morning’s BIPOC Leaders Professional Learning Community. Tai enjoys spending time with her family, visiting museums, and cheering for the Washington Nationals. Her core values are Authenticity, Justice, and Joy. Tai is thrilled to join the community at Two Rivers PCS!
