Sherrie has always had a passion for working with children. Growing up in Washington, DC with her three younger siblings, she was always a role model who instilled the importance of education in them. After graduating from Eastern Senior High School in Washington, DC, Sherrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Marketing from Virginia State University. She taught Physical Education for 7 years before transitioning to Early Childhood, where she developed a strong love for prekindergarten. A true Washingtonian and lover of inner city youth, she has vowed to give back to her community by strengthening the minds of the children of Washington, DC.
