Sasha Silverman
Sasha (she/her) grew up in New York City, where she attended Hunter College, earning a B.S. in World Religions and City College of New York for her M.S.Ed in Teaching Students with Disabilities. After working in education for nearly 10 years in NYC public schools, Sasha relocated to San Diego, where she taught in a small K-12 school, offering highly personalized programs for students who had experienced difficulty in traditional school settings. Following this challenging yet rewarding experience, Sasha relocated to Washington, DC during the COVID shut-down in June, 2020. With school entirely virtual, Sasha started a small outdoor preschool classroom where students could safely learn outdoors together. She is very excited to be returning to her roots as a special education teacher.
