Faculty and Staff

(She/Her) Rachel grew up in the small town of Strasburg, Virginia, before attending the University of Virginia to study English and Media Studies. She then moved to the DC area and got her Master of Education with a concentration in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Rachel taught in DC for four years before moving out west to teach at an expeditionary learning school in San Diego for two years. She is excited to return to DC as a teacher at Two Rivers and be closer to family. When she is not teaching, Rachel enjoys playing with her dog (and all dogs), checking out DC museums and libraries, and trying to cook new recipes!
