Megan DeRitter is from Upstate NY and studied Psychology and Inclusive Education at Nazareth College of Rochester. Desperate to explore a new city and experience milder winters, Megan moved to Baltimore City as a founding teacher of an EL Education School. Megan served in a variety of roles including intermediate classroom teacher, instructional guide, and reading specialist. During her time in Baltimore she earned a M.Ed. in Reading Education and completed a professional certificate program in School Improvement and Leadership through Goucher College.

After 7 years at an EL school, Megan began her work with EL Education as a school designer. In fact, she was Two River’s EL school designer. From the first day she stepped foot on campus in 2017 she knew the TR community was special. Megan joined our community as an Assistant Principal and is now serving as the Principal.

In her free time, Megan enjoys the outdoors, traveling, local farmer’s markets, and saying yes to just about any new adventure. Megan loves to play tennis and pickleball and is always looking for a hitting partner! “
