(She/Her) MK grew up in Purcellville, VA before attending Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences and Psychology. During her time working at the VCU Child Development Center, she discovered her passion for working with children. She further pursued this passion while earning her doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy at VCU. MK is thrilled to be a part of the Two Rivers community and is committed to serving as an advocate and teammate to support students’ educational needs and psychosocial well-being. Her goal is to empower students to take pride and ownership in their own educational experiences. In her free time MK enjoys staying active through yoga and running, reading and spending time outdoors.
