Faculty and Staff

Marisa was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland. She studied Early Childhood Education and Creative Arts Integration at Salisbury University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Marisa taught kindergarten for two years as a Teach for America corps member in Las Vegas, Nevada. She returned to the east coast to continue her education at George Mason University and received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Diverse Learners.

With a love of visual art, dance, and music, Marisa increases student engagement through singing, dancing, and creating! She is excited to join the Two Rivers’ school community and can’t wait to meet her new students!
