Liz earned her B.A. in history and education at Rutgers University, where she received her secondary education certification, and completed the coursework in the Applied Psychology graduate program at New York University. She taught geography and literature in DCPS and was a special education teacher at St. Coletta, a school for children with intellectual disabilities. As part of a founding family, Liz has been associated with Two Rivers since its inception in 2003. For several years she worked part-time at TR, substitute teaching and assisting with the administration of standardized tests. In 2015 she became the full-time testing coordinator. After having spent SY 2017-2018 abroad, she returned to TR and took on her current role of business program associate. Along with her partner, Jessica, she is parent to Jamie (TR Class of 2013), Matthew (TR Class of 2017), and Alice (TR Class of 2021). Liz enjoys time with family and friends, reading, doing puzzles, and biking and hiking.
