Faculty and Staff

Lesley is from Portsmouth, VA which is apart of the Hampton Roads area. She attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where she majored in Communications. After college, Lesley joined City Year in Washington, D.C. where she educated middle school students on drugs and the prevention of HIV. She enjoyed working within the classroom so much she decided to work with students full time by accepting a position as an Assistant Teacher at Two Rivers after taking a few special education classes at University of Virginia — NOVA Center, she decided to pursue a career in special education which is how she obtained her current role at Two Rivers as an Inclusion Teacher for 4th/5th grade loop. During her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter who also attends Two Rivers and watching documentaries.
