(He/Him) John is a proud Boricua from Guayama, Puerto Rico, raised in Rochester, NY. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from American University, where he was part of the Honors Program and focused on the Eurasia region. During college, he studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, deepening his passion for language, culture, and global education. A Teach For America corps member, John is dedicated to building joyful, inclusive classrooms where all students feel seen and valued. He brings experience working with young learners and believes strong relationships are the foundation for academic and personal growth. Outside of the classroom, John enjoys hiking, reading at coffee shops, travelin, and spending time with family and friends. A fun fact: he once swam with sharks in the Galápagos Islands!
