Maya has been a proud Two Rivers parent since 2021. A native Midwesterner, Maya has lived in Washington, DC since 2008. She lives in NE with her husband and two daughters-a rising 3rd grader and a rising 1st grader. She works as a licensed counselor and postpartum doula. Throughout her professional and personal endeavors, Maya always looks to provide support and access to quality care within the community in which she lives. Outside of work, you can find Maya spending time at her kid’s activities, volunteering for Postpartum Support International, working on art projects, and enjoying the outdoors.
