(He/Him) Derick is a dedicated educator with nearly 15 years of experience, having served as a library assistant, VPK teacher, and coach in multiple sports. Raised in the DMV area, he recently returned in the summer of 2023 to share his passion for hip-hop music and production, leveraging his expertise as a professional DJ and producer to teach children at a notable nonprofit organization. Derick is set to further his academic journey, planning to reenroll at George Mason University in the upcoming spring, continuing his pursuit of knowledge and innovative education methods. You can often catch Derick in the neighborhood walking his cute English bulldog named Meat.
