Faculty and Staff

(She/Her) Delonna has been working in education since she arrived in DC in 2004. She has been teaching ELA for the past six years and loves to share her love for literacy. She has fourteen years of experience as an administrator in the education field. She is passionate about hands-on learning that builds core memories for students. She loves to dress up as characters to help students connect to unit launch. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Ohio State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. She graduated in December 2023 from Grand Canyon University with her Master’s in Special Education. Delonna also loves crafting, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
