(He/Him) Dakota was born and raised in upstate New York, he moved to Virginia to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mary Washington and has settled into his home in DC. Dakota first ventured into the academic field while serving as the Director of Project Discovery, where he served for over two years. He built and maintained a graduation rate of 98% for the hundreds of students he supported. Dakota has taught 7th-grade through 12th-grade sciences most recently in a non-traditional learning environment, often simultaneously, for three complete school years. He is excited to dive into the world of science with his students.
