(She/Her) Hi my name is Mrs. Cheryl and I am the assistant teacher for pre-k at the young location. I have been teaching at Two Rivers PCS for 8 years. I love pre-k and all of the learning fun and experiences we get to have together. In addition to teaching I am also a mother of two young men and a grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren.

I have my associates degree in early childhood education and this fall I will attend college to receive my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and I currently took on the role as assistant teacher leader. Reaching my goal of getting my bachelor’s degree will help me become a better teacher/co-worker and give me tools and resources to help my students and co-workers perform at a higher level.

I grew up in Washington D.C. and attended D.C. public schools. I am the sixth child out of seven brothers and sisters and outside of work I love spending time with my family.
