Chelsea Ruocco loves spreading joy and kindness in the classroom and is energized by the love for learning that her students bring to school every day. Her love of education and travel led her to teach abroad in countries such as South Africa, Thailand, Portugal, and Honduras. While in Roatán, Honduras, she taught at a Montessori school for two years, during which she also enjoyed one of her favorite hobbies, scuba diving.

Chelsea studied speech language pathology at the University of Buffalo. She received a Master of English in teaching English as a second language and childhood education from Long Island University. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys scuba diving, traveling, fostering dogs from the local animal shelter, reading, and trying new restaurants.
