Faculty and Staff

Chelsea Rivas was raised all over the U.S. and has always had a passion for working with children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and her dual-Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She taught Kindergarten-Second grade as a general education teacher for a nine years and transitioned to her role as a special education teacher last year. She is excited to continue her growth as an educator as she moves to upper elementary this year! When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her son (soon to be sons!), reading, cooking, and exploring D.C. with friends and family.
