(She/They) Chelsea Rivas was raised all over the U.S. and has always had a passion for working with children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and her dual-Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She taught Kindergarten-Second grade as a general education teacher for nine years and transitioned to her role as a special education teacher in 2022. She is excited to continue her growth as an educator and build relationships with her fourth graders and their families! When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her sons, her dog Pepper, reading, cooking, and exploring D.C. with friends and family.
