Chellie Colbert III, known to students as “Mr. C,” is the Campus Director of Special
Populations. A Cleveland, Ohio native, he has spent the last seven years in Washington, D.C., working as a special education teacher and educational leader, ensuring diverse learners have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Virginia State University and an M.Ed. in
Education Policy and Leadership from Trinity Washington University. His work focuses on strengthening special education programs, ensuring compliance, supporting educators, and partnering with families to improve student outcomes.
A proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Chellie leads by a simple philosophy: build trust through integrity, lead by example, and stay consistent and accountable.
Outside of education, he’s the founder of Generation of Kings, a clothing brand built around leadership and purpose. He enjoys football, basketball, travel, and spending time with his daughter.
