Chavala received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Springfield, and her Master of Arts in Education from McKendree University. She has dedicated her career as an educator to making STEM education accessible for all by developing curriculum, designing programming, and engaging students in learning centered on their lived experience. Chavala is thrilled to be continuing her career in science education at Two Rivers. Chavala loves to spend her free time reading, traveling, and exploring the city with family and friends.
