(She/Her) Aqueelha James has lived in various states and cities throughout the United States. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bowie State University, a Master’s degree in K-12 School Administration from Trinity University, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at Liberty University. Aqueelha is a highly experienced educator and leader with over 20 years of experience. Her journey began as a science teacher, where she received State Teacher of the Year and Highly Effective Educator Awards. She then transitioned into school and district-level administration and received Highly Effective Principal Awards. Aqueelha is a mother of two and married her college sweetheart; she values family, education, and diversity. Aqueelha is committed to her unwavering belief in the transformative potential of people and education.
