Ann (she/her) grew up all over the country, but has called DC home since 2009. She received her Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and moderate special needs from Boston College, her Masters of Science in teaching from Northwestern University, and holds a certificate in reading from George Washington University. Ann has been in education for over two decades. She taught kindergarten and first grade for 16 years mostly in Chicago and at Two Rivers 4th Street campus. She was also the assistant principal at Young for four years. Ann loves teaching kindergarten and first grade where the students’ joy is infectious and their learning is exponential! When Ann is not teaching, she loves spending time with her husband, playing with her daughter and walking her dog.
