McKenzie comes to Two Rivers from Wisconsin, where she grew up on her family’s dairy farm. From the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, McKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science Education. Additionally, McKenzie earned a Master of Public Policy – Educational Policy degree from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.
Prior to joining Two Rivers, McKenzie worked in rural education policy at the U.S. Department of Education and education advocacy at a nonprofit organization. McKenzie joined the Two Rivers team in 2017 as the Middle School Science Teacher and now proudly serves as a Principal.
In her spare time, McKenzie enjoys reading, baking, and trying new restaurants.
