Ashley is originally from the small town of Woodstock, Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington before moving to South Korea, where she taught English for three years. She then moved to London, England, to earn her Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from London Metropolitan University. After completing her master’s degree, Ashley returned to South Korea for another three years before moving back to the United States.
Since 2016, Ashley has lived and taught in the Washington, D.C. area. Her international experiences have shaped her passion for teaching and supporting multilingual learners.
Outside of the classroom, Ashley enjoys traveling, visiting museums, attending concerts, and spinning vinyl with her husband.
