(She/Her) Karolyn is originally from Southern California, and relocated to the Hampton Roads area with her family as a young adult. She attended Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. After graduating college, she developed a passion for mental health awareness, environmental campaigns, and various humanitarian efforts. This passion has allowed her to serve her community by organizing various functions, working with children of all ages, and being an advocate for social and community needs. She decided to further her education and pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Administration with a Specialization in Child, Youth, and Family at Case Western Reserve University in 2018. Some of her favorite things include: Art galleries, tie dye, tacos, good music, great reading material, and spending time with her family and friends. Karolyn is looking forward to another amazing year at Two Rivers, and is thrilled to be part of such an awesome community!
