Selena grew up in South Carolina and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the College of Charleston. She continued her studies at the University of Texas: Rio Grande Valley and completed her Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics Education. Prior to moving to DC, Selena taught in public and private settings in Charleston, South Carolina and Houston, Texas. Selena was a teacher and special education coordinator at a private school in DC before joining Two Rivers. When school is not in session, Selena likes to travel and has visited 11 countries.
