Re’Jeanne Johnson

Re’Jeanne is a Prince George’s County native and has worked in the District of Columbia Public Charter School System since 2014. Her passion for youth started right before she graduated high school where she took child development classes and worked in the school’s child development center. After high school, Re’Jeanne worked at several child care centers. After 8 years, she decided to make the switch to the public charter education system.

Re’Jeanne earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2013 and returned in the fall to start her Masters of Nonprofit Management degree program which she finished in 2016. Fall 2016 she will be going back to graduate school to start a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology degree program which she hopes to finish by Spring 2018.

Re’Jeanne is the mother of one amazing little boy and considers herself a friendly, fun going person who loves organization systems and binge watching the ID channel amongst other things. She’s also passionate about nonprofit work and giving back to the community. She’s drawn to nonprofit agencies that center around children in need and considers herself a child advocate.
