Faculty and Staff

Portia is new to the Two Rivers staff but not to the Two Rivers family. Last year, she served as a dedicated aide. She is a native of Washington, D.C. where she graduated from D.C. Public Schools. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hampton University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Portia has always been passionate about working with children and decided she can better serve in the classroom. In 2018, she decided to switch from the healthcare field to education. Portia is currently pursuing her Masters of Elementary Education at John Hopkins University.

In her free time, she enjoys finding fun and creative things to do with her daughter.
