Christel grew up in McDonough, GA and relocated to the DC area in 2010. Her love for teaching began in high school, where she had numerous dedicated teachers that inspired her to become both a supportive and encouraging educator. She started her professional career as a Pre-K teacher at KinderCare, and later dove into providing homeschool services. Christel is currently pursuing her B.A. in Elementary Education.

In her spare time, Christel enjoys hosting game nights for friends, Karaoke, seeing live plays and musicals, everything involving a beach and road tripping! She is excited to be joining the Two Rivers team!
