(She/Her) Beija was born in Salvador, Brazil, went to elementary and middle school in New York City, and High School in San Diego, California. She recently graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) with a B.A. in Social Relations and Policy and a minor in Chicano/Latino Studies. Beija has 5 siblings and loves spending time with family. Her favorite things in life are her family, friends, snowboarding, reading and traveling. Beija loves school, and is excited to be in a classroom again. A fun fact about Beija is that her mom is a teacher at Two Rivers Middle School (Hi Ms. Sasha)!
