Bahiya received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from William Paterson University located in New Jersey where she is originally from. Bahiya started her teacher career working with students on the Autism Spectrum and followed a path to becoming not just a teacher but an advocate and leader in special education. Bahiya has a background in Sociology and cares deeply about social injustices and focusing on the whole child in order to be an effective educator. She is a mother of two who enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and quality family time. She hopes to continue positively impacting the learning experiences of students.
