(She/er) Born in Puerto Rico, Ashley moved to Alexandria, Virginia at the age of 4. Ashley enjoyed the best of both worlds, having received both public school and private education. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Howard University. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she moved to South Africa and then Spain to teach abroad. Homesick, Ashley decided to return back to D.C. and continue her love of teaching. Ashley has taught since 2015 and is eager to begin the new school year with Two Rivers as the 8th grade Science teacher. In 2022, Ashley returned back to school and welcomed a beautiful baby boy. In her spare time, she runs a tea and herbal company and somehow fits monthly hikes to enjoy the outdoor air.
