Amy (she/her) was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Temple University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. During her time at Temple University, she joined Jumpstart, an early childhood organization that introduced her to the joy of working with children! Amy relocated to D.C. in 2020, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Johns Hopkins University.
During the 2020-2021 school year, Amy worked as an Assistant Teacher at Two Rivers. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher, and is continuously inspired by the children she works with! Amy enjoys creating joyful, kind, and safe spaces for students to learn and grow in. In her free time, you can find Amy listening to music, crafting, laying in the sun, or hiking! She is so excited to meet her new students and to spend another year at Two Rivers!
