Two Rivers Scored as Tier 1 – Fifth Year in a Row

Two Rivers has once again scored as a Tier 1 school for the fifth straight year!

Two Rivers is proud to announce that we have scored as a Tier 1 school for the fifth straight year! The announcement came this morning from the DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB), which released the 2016 results of its annual School Quality Reports.

School Quality Reports are used by PCSB to assess and monitor public charter school performance. Schools are rated as Tier 1 if they meet standards of high performance. As a first year school, Two Rivers at Young was not tiered.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as a Tier 1 school for the fifth year!" said Executive Director Jessica Wodatch. "At Two Rivers, we provide an interactive, project-based learning environment that helps all students achieve. Congratulations to our students, and thanks to the tremendous staff, families, and community that have helped our students accomplish this success!"

The individual scorecard for Two Rivers can be found here, and a few highlights include:

--- Out of schools scored in the District, Two Rivers is one of only seven schools to achieve Tier 1 status for all five years.
