In their own words

Katherine, parent

I have really noticed [my son’s] become really independent. He'd always been kind of Independent but I've really seen the maturity... in the platform he's able to navigate and go to all of his classes. I just just let him do his thing. He's been doing good. I definitely see the independence [during his time] at Two Rivers. He had the opportunity to become a Student Ambassador. He was asking about that this year. That has really helped him grow to be that student that I did not know he was able to be. I am really grateful about the way the Two Rivers has helped him navigate and helped him grow as a student.

Well, I'm actually a teacher too and that's why I don't bother him that much because I am teaching as well. But as far as virtual learning I am appreciative that he's able to do it and appreciate that he's able to get to office hours to get the support. He knows when to ask for help when he needs it. He's able to voice his opinion on things. I really appreciate that. It's not that I don't want to, it's just that I can only help him at certain points of the day. And I don't want to overwhelm him. And now that he's able to do that on his own. He wakes up on his own. I don't even have to wake him up. I don't have to do anything. He just gets up and gets on here and that's what we have to do.
